Crystal Ball GazingA few years ago I decided to learn crystal ball meditation. Until then, I'd thought gazing was a talent a gifted view might be born with and didn't realize it was a discipline that could be mastered with practice and focus. Finding that out, and about some of my earlier preconceived notions about crystal use, I was drawn to the idea. Searching until I found the Quartz sphere that was perfect for me, I was pleased to find that this type of meditation had so many benefits even outside of full-fledged visions. With study and preparation, using tips provided in Ted Andrew's Crystal Balls & Crystal Bowls, I began to have "successful" sessions right from the start. That was my very first "crystal" and not long after, I had the most unusual experience. While working one day, I had the sudden but irresistible urge to go back to the shop where I'd found my crystal ball. I couldn't shake the feeling so finally, I dropped everything and drove over. The friendly shop keeper had a visitor and right away introduced me to her. Chatting about common interests, she soon put a translucent green stone in my hand and asked that I tell her what I felt. MoldaviteWow! What I felt was as if the crown of my head had been opened up as if it were the valve on a pressure cooker. I'd had
daily headaches for months, probably from so much mental work combined with coffee and cigarettes. With this stone in my hand, not only did the headache quickly
disappear, I felt both excited and energetic, yet tranquil. Before you know it, the shop owner gave me the stone as a gift.
Crystal PyramidI find that working with crystals can be a wonderful form of relaxation. Early on in my
exploration of crystals I decided to
build a multifunctional pyramid using various crystals and minerals. After some research on
the Egyptian pyramid dimensions and collecting the pieces, I built this proto Meditation Pyramid
A year later, I decided to build a pyramid with In between those two projects, I fashioned a glittering jewelry tree by gluing crystal points and flowery designs to the tips and crevices of a long-dead bonsai type plant. I'd been hanging onto it for just the right project to come along. More on that when I have a good photo.
Convertible WandsLast year, I "invented" the wands you see here,
called the Convertible Wand. I wanted a copper conduit, an excellent conductor, but also wanted some
choices about the tips and the selection of stones inside the tubing. This was
the result, tips that are interchangeable on one end and a hollow tube to hold
rare gemstones. The crystal points on the ends are set into the cap and tube so
that they make contact with the stones inside to provide the greatest energy. I've
put a few of these on eBay, but finding just the "right" crystal
points take Melody
Ruby Record KeepersLast for now, I have to show you one of my all-time favorite
crystal formations, the Ruby Record Keeper. They are very rare and I've been
fortunate to find a few in my crystal hunts. I've shared a few on eBay. Learn some basics about crystal ball gazing in Meditations. A book in the Library called Crystal Balls & Crystal Bowls is highly recommended.
